Predsjednik Narodne skupštine Republike Srpske Nenad Stevandić čestitao je Dan grada Banjaluka, 22. april, istakašvi da naslijeđe oslobodilaca i antifašista obavezuje na uviđavnost i zajedništvo.
Stevandić je na mreži “Iks” čestitao Dan grada gradonačelniku, predsjednik Skupštine grada, svim odbornicima, rukovodiocima i svim Banjalučanima.
Dan grada Banjaluka slavi se u znak sjećanja na 22. april 1945. godine kada je grad oslobođen od okupatora u Drugom svjetskom ratu.
